"Design with Canva" workshop was organised by IEEE Vemana Student Branch on 21st February 2024.

Posters provide visual, colourful, simple ways to communicate community issues and events, and are suitable for display in community spaces.Posters offer a space of any chosen size indoor or outdoor where your business can market, advertise and promote your brand.

Poster designing workshops helps students to learn poster making from scratch. Posters allow students to use their imagination and experiment with elements like color, layout, and design, fostering their artistic skills.

Hence this workshop made students to learn poster designing using Canva app which is an online graphic design app for creating social media graphics and presentations.

The workshop was lead by our esteemed alumni, and our guest Suhas N. Suhas is an exemplary Advanced VLSI Design and Verification Engineer.Having earned his Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from our institution, Suhas has since embarked on a remarkable journey, contributing significantly to the advancement of VLSI design and verification.

All the IEEE members actively took part in the session held and showed their interest and created a poster of their own interest. This workshop made students to learn the skill of poster designing for both technical and non technical events (themes).

Vemana IEEE Student Branch Chapter in association with Vemana IEEE Women in Engineering Affinity Group organised "Design with Canva" workshop on February 21st 2024. There were 60 participants.

And there was a small poster designing competition among the attendees and everyone participated enthusiastically.

The attendees were judged on creativity, originality, and the relevance of the message conveyed in their posters.

1st Prize was won by Chinmai .She designed the poster for an opening ceremony of fashion boutique using scratch

2nd Prize was won by Pranathi. She designed the poster for pet shop advertisement.

3rd Prize was won Akshay Bharadhwaj K.He designed the poster for advertising Iyengar Bakery.

There are another 2 designs which were appreciated done by Akash and Shreyas R
